Hmm in all honesty their dorsal stripes remind me of a jackal

and markings of a wolf, even. But that's just me D:

gonna throw my two cents in here and say
first of all neither of us are a full gray fox so of course the markings would not fully match that of the fox in question..
i'm mixed with a husky which of course would in terms make me look kind of wolfish
and gray foxes do have a darker back end that would make them look similar to a jackal
and also she never said she took my entire markings and was going for the look of a gray fox..just that she took 'some' of the little traits that i had
