Oh my god...Is this....Romeo as in the Romeo from Roadside Romeo? That movie was so weird! But damn are the songs catchy!n SOrry, it just really surprised me to see someone made a plush of that. XD I realize this is like a year old, but it's pretty good.
I don't even understand the directions for commercially reproduced stuffed animal patterns. I don't really need this pattern right now anyway, I'm still a novice; but I promised someone here that if I ever got truly GOOD at making stuffed animals (like you are), that I would make hem a stuffed animal of this one particular character they love. I think this would be a good base to work with. I'd have to change the shape of the head of course and probably could commission someone to make it for my friend, but I think it makes it even more special when you make something yourself.
I feel ya... Sadly I can't, this pattern would be too hard to understand lol you would have to know how I built it up to what it is.
But I will tell you where to start on your own, I based my patter off a TY beanie baby kid,( I'm sure you can find one for cheap online or at a yard sale) And I studied the seams of it, though since your just starting I would recommend taking apart the plushie as gruesome as it sounds, and study how they put it together.
another plush I studied was a bugs bunny, i'm sure you can find a cheap one to take apart or study images online.
;w; I was wondering what had happened to this project. You never, EVER cease to amaze me. This looks really good, though. You improve so quickly in such a short time. It makes me wonder how great you'll be next year. c: Keep up the sewing!
This looks really really good! And it's true. Minky can be a pain to work with at times. It may be easy to sew but since one side is always stretchy you have to be careful which way the hairs direct too. and its basically very short faux fur so you'll see every seam if not done properly.
