Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

alright I'm ready to start entry to my collab raffel.

I'll choose the winner after I finish my last commission.

Only one person will get to collab with me.

Read the rules first please

1.) your half has to be done by Dec 31.

2.) It can be traditional, but it has to have a complete background as well as being fully colored. Same goes for using digital art.

3.) You must stick to the theme given. (I will note the winner the theme I picked out)

4.) I will need to see your sketch, before I start my half, to make sure the image will match up as close as possible.

5.) I will most likely have animals in my half, but your side can include humans, robots or what ever you prefer to draw.

6.) the winner will be chosen with a random number generator, so it doesn't matter who comments first.

7.) If you think you would want to take on this challenge, please say (I want to join the collab ) and yes you have to include the snowflake, so I know you read the rules. Comments without the Snowflake will be over looked.
